Privacy Policy

What We Collect
- Wallet address — derived from your x402 payment. Used as your identity and to scope your memories.
- Memory content — the text you store via the API. Used solely to provide the memory service.
- Embeddings — vector representations of your memories, generated via OpenAI, for semantic search.
- Usage metadata — timestamps, access counts, and importance scores for retrieval ranking.
What We Don't Do
- We never train on your memories or use them for any purpose other than providing the service.
- We never sell your data to third parties.
- We never share memories across wallets. Wallet A cannot access Wallet B's data.
- We do not track you across sites. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami, self-hosted).
Data Storage
Memories are stored in a PostgreSQL database with pgvector on Neon. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Memories are scoped to your wallet address and cannot be accessed by other users.
Third-Party Services
- OpenAI — used to generate embeddings for semantic search. Memory content is sent to OpenAI's API for embedding only.
- Neon — PostgreSQL hosting provider.
- Railway — API compute hosting.
- Base (Ethereum L2) — payment processing via x402 protocol.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual memories at any time via the API or CLI (memoclaw delete <id>). To delete all your data, use the list endpoint to retrieve all memory IDs and delete them individually, or contact us on Twitter/X for bulk deletion.
Cookies
The MemoClaw website uses a single privacy-friendly analytics cookie (Umami, self-hosted). No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
