Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the MemoClaw API, SDK, CLI, or MCP server ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Your wallet address serves as your identity and account — no separate registration is required.

2. Service Description

MemoClaw provides a persistent memory API for AI agents. You can store, recall, and manage text-based memories via semantic search. The Service is provided as-is, cloud-hosted at api.memoclaw.com.

3. Payments

  • Each wallet receives 100 free API calls.
  • After the free tier, payments are processed automatically via the x402 payment protocol using USDC on Base.
  • Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days notice.
  • All payments are final. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Store passwords, API keys, private keys, or other secrets
  • Store illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Attempt to access memories belonging to other wallets
  • Abuse the free tier by creating multiple wallets to circumvent limits
  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or exploit others

5. Data & Privacy

Memories are scoped to your wallet address. We do not train on your data. You can delete individual memories or all data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Limitations

  • Maximum 8,192 characters per memory
  • Maximum 100 memories per batch request
  • The Service is cloud-only — no self-hosted option
  • Uptime is not guaranteed. We aim for 99.9% but provide no SLA

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Deletion of all memories can be requested via the API.

8. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DOWNTIME, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on our Twitter/X.
